DevOps Engineer

Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite)

A high-growth SaaS company in a regulated sector is looking to add a DevOps Engineer to its growing Platform team. This role will focus on building and operating secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that underpins critical systems used by customers around the world.

You’ll be joining a collaborative engineering environment where automation, reliability, and security are key priorities.


The Opportunity

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play an important role in shaping and maintaining the company’s cloud platform. Working closely with Software Engineering and QA teams, you’ll help ensure infrastructure is resilient, scalable, and efficient while improving deployment processes and developer workflows.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and driving continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure within AWS

  • Support and scale containerised workloads running on Kubernetes (EKS)

  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools

  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD

  • Write automation scripts using Python and Bash

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues

  • Support incident response processes and contribute to an on-call rotation

  • Ensure platform security standards and compliance requirements are met

  • Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability and developer experience


About You

  • 3–5 years’ experience working in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles

  • Strong experience working with AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS and Lambda

  • Experience running Kubernetes environments in production

  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

  • Comfortable writing automation scripts in Python and Bash

  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

  • Experience working within regulated or compliance-driven environments is beneficial

  • Exposure to data technologies such as Snowflake or Airflow is an advantage

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
